“September” is an excerpt from JAQrabbit Tales, an adults-only comics series I am working on. It takes place on two days in September 2001. I am releasing this ahead of the beginning of the series in recognition of the 10th anniversary of these events.

There were two tragedies that took place that week. The first was on 9/11 when 3000 people were killed. The second was on 9/12 when America responded. Some of that response was good, but much of it was harmful, turning its back on some of the things that make it a great country.
